Owning two restaurants in Cancun, Mexico since the 1980’s, the Bocos Family opened Casa Frida in Fort Lauderdale in 2012 to bring authentic Mexican cuisine to South Florida. Casa Frida’s Sommelier, Victor Bocos, and his family, offer original and traditional dishes using recipes that date back to the ancient Aztecs and Mayans.

Preparing food from all different regions of Mexico, Casa Frida is inspired in the folkloric art of the famous painter, Frida Kahlo and her husband, Diego Rivera. They create an audio-visual and gastronomic experience for their guests and make them feel like they are dining in a restaurant somewhere in Mexico.

All dishes, sauces, moles and desserts are homemade, following the recipes of our ancestors.
